The stream restoration and rain garden project at Malvern Hills Park and West Asheville Park is moving along quite nicely. The plans are complete and we are waiting on our permits and we are in the process of selecting a contractor to do the work. it is Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009, 11:34AM and there is a stink upon us. can anyone help me figure out what it is? - it is very sulphur-ish. some have told me on humid, hazy days it travels from the West paper mills ... others insist there is a landfill near us that has just been stirred up. regardless, i hate it, wish it would die and go away. thank you for your help. kc
