Blue Barnhouse! and The Center for Holistic Medicine. but i'm a bit biased as to those locales....
Everywhere in west asheville has it's merits.

Hmmmm. We like West Asheville! West End Bakery for a shot in the dark. The Haywood St. Market. AND Tolliver's on Wednesday evening when the Red Wellies play really great Irish music.
My daughter says her favorite West Asheville destination is Grandmaman's house.

I love beanwerk's coffee so i'm there a lot.
but my absolute fav place is my house. right in the thick of things. :)

No. 1 is Sunny Point Cafe; when my mom died last June, my 3 children came to be at my side, and though 2 live in NY and the other in Las Vegas--both eating capitals--they loved Sunny Pt. so much that we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there for the 5 days they were in town.
