I was soooo pleased to see a shot of Haywood Road in 1937...My dad worked at May's Market at that period of time and continued with the market for 42 years until he retired. Wonderful archive.
I am a true friend of West Asheville and have lived there since 1959, but visited West Asheville since 1947., when I was born...
