The West Asheville History Project began at West Asheville
Branch Library in November of 1998, in response to students’
requests for information about the history of our community.
From Asheville City Preschool Early Head Start to Penlands Auction house - From GasUp to the delapidated Fix-Em-Up garage and Stowaway Storage, this is a diverse and artistic neighborhood.
I do not see Horney Heights in the maps of Neighborhoods. I think it runs between Carrier down to the creek near Popple.

Haywood Road Corridor Committee Meeting - just a part.
We met this Monday, Aug 25 at the West Asheville Library room to discuss whole Haywood Road vision. To be honest, I'm less interested in the whole zoning issue as i don't own a business and haven't educated myself about what zoning means (There are 8 types of commercial zone?), but i was mostly there for curiosity and to familiarize myself with the whole idea of neighborhood.
And i love maps and they had two cool ones, zoning and neighborhoods.
